Stryker Hip Lawsuit
Lawsuits filed by patients who were implanted with Stryker hip devices allege that the manufacturers knew about problems with the hip replacements before they were recalled. Stryker Corporation recalled the Stryker Rejuvenate and ABG II hip replacement systems in July 2012, stating that fretting and corrosion of the hip replacement can cause damage to surrounding tissue.
Patients experiencing pain and swelling at the site of their hip implant should contact a medical professional to determine if they were implanted with a recalled Stryker metal hip device. Injuries such as fractures, hip implant dislocation and metal poisoning have been linked to the Stryker Rejuvenate and ABG II hip replacements.
Patients that have suffered pain, impaired movement, revision surgery or other negative side effects from defective Stryker hip replacements may be entitled to compensation.
If you or a loved one received a Stryker Rejuvenate or Stryker ABG II hip replacement system and suffered from problems with the device, you maybe eligible to file a lawsuit.
